Privacy Policy

1. What this document covers

This policy explains what information Captain's Draft collects, what it is used for and which choices you have. It applies to the game website and to the accounts created in it.

2. Data that stays on your device

The game runs offline. Season progress, squad, prestige and preferences (volume, crowd sound, accessibility) are stored in your browser's local storage. That data is not sent to us until you create an account, and you can erase it at any time by clearing site data or using the danger zone in Settings.

3. Account data (optional)

Creating an account is optional and enables cloud saves, leaderboard entries and feedback. In that case we process: your login email, account identifier, chosen nickname, the country set in your profile, your game save, leaderboard scores, champions published to the gallery and the text of any feedback you send.

Purposes: authenticating you, syncing progress across devices, building public leaderboards and the gallery, and replying to feedback. Legal bases: performance of the service you requested, and our legitimate interest in keeping the game working and free of abuse.

4. Public information

Nickname, country, competition and score appear publicly on the leaderboard and in the champions gallery when you publish a result. Do not put personal data in your nickname or in feedback.

5. Usage metrics and ad measurement

We use Google Analytics to understand which pages are visited, where traffic comes from and which game events happen (season start, run end, leaderboard publication). Those reports are aggregated and used to improve the game.

We also use Google Ads conversion tags to measure when a visitor who arrived from an ad starts a match. This lets us understand whether the ads are bringing in players and stops wasting budget on clicks that do not engage. In regions that require consent, the tag only fires if you accept in the cookie notice.

6. Processors and third-party services

To host the site, store accounts and saves and measure usage we rely on infrastructure and analytics providers, which process data under our instructions and their own policies. We do not sell personal data and do not use game data for targeted advertising.

7. Retention

Account data is kept while the account exists. On a deletion request we remove the profile, the cloud save and the associated leaderboard entries. Aggregated metrics do not identify you individually and may remain in reports.

8. Your rights

You can request confirmation of processing, access, correction, anonymisation, portability and deletion of your data, as well as information about sharing. Write to contact@captainsdraft.com from your account email and we will reply within a reasonable time.

9. Children and teenagers

The game is not directed at children under 13. If we identify an account created by a minor without a guardian's consent, it may be removed.

10. Changes

We may update this policy; material changes will be flagged in the game. See also the Terms of Service.
